Our Mission
The Wild Women Textile Arts Group is based on the Gold Coast and meets regularly to exchange ideas and inspire each other through creative activities, challenges and workshops.
We love stitching, painting, dyeing, printing, felting, layering, embellishing and manipulating fabrics and fibres to make wonderful textile art.
The group aspires to develop individual capabilities through sharing knowledge and techniques. Members aim to enhance their textile arts skills and to find their own unique creative voice.
We also believe in reaching out and actively participating in the wider community. The group operates on an informal, volunteer, not-for-profit basis. We value individual member’s contributions to create and maintain a thriving, supportive textile arts group.
