As I won't be at the November meeting I thought I would post a couple of pictures of my mostly finished capelet from Svenja's workshop - modelled by the lovely Joy Webster! A few addional beads in a couple of places and it will be done!   I love the texture and will definetly be experimenting more with the technique into the future. And in a shameless plug ... my tabard that I created at Nancy Ballesteros' Shifting Shapes in Silk workshop will be on display at Robina Gallery over the next two weeks as part of the City of Gold Coast Council Officers Exhibitition - if you are in the area, please drop in an take a look.

What a fabulous day we had yesterday at Kirra Hill!  Weather was superb and everyone was in fine form - including the magical Svenja.  We had a blast! I have created a shared album of our works in progress, which we will be adding to over the comming weeks.  Enjoy! Click on the photo to view the album
