Christine has been busy sketching our neighbours at Linking you locally for Sketch crawl.  I can see an art journal in the making😊 Gold Coast Quilters Purl Divas and the Wild Women Textile Art Group!

Linking you locally

Image
The Linking you locally event has kicked off at Broadbeach Library. Our Wild Women creations are attracting a lot of attention. Feedback was very positive. There was a lot of discussion about technique and general interest and compliments on our work. It also provided a chance to do a bit of networking with some of the other groups. Many thanks to Helen who dropped in to give Christine and I a chance to wander around and catch a bite to eat.

October 2016 meeting

What an extraordinary array of creativity was on display at the meeting on Saturday!  We had examples of eco dyeing, felting, art journals and pages in the making, cushions, bags, soulful divas, painted fabric and Michelle's amazing sign for the Linking you locally event at Broadbeach Library. There was so much on show that I have created a photo gallery of the images ... I excluded any items that will form part of our display at the event, as I will create a separate post for that.
