It is hard not to smile when you see the quirky and joyous work of our fourth artist, Carolyn. But look closer and you see layers of complexity, of technique and meaning.
Hi Wild Women I'm happy to report that my recent entries into the Gold Coast Show awarded me 2nd and 3rd prizes in millinery and a great big 1st in the dream catcher section. Wasn't fit enough to go to the show when it was on, so it was a real thrill when collecting them to see their certificates attached. Our end of year Christmas get-together today featured delicious delicacies, a rather tasty punch and a show and tell table resplendent with diverting divas, an exquisite fabric journal, an amazing beaded hanging and a colorful Mitzi bag. Here's a glimpse of the delights on show. 1. From Svenya's workshop - two capelets Helga's capelet Close up of Helga's capelet Close up of Leona's capelet 2.
