January Show & Tell

It was wonderful to catch up with so many of our Wild Women at our first meeting for the year, and to see that the busy Christmas festivities hadn't impeded the flow of creativity! There were some beautiful works on display at Show & tell.  Eileen & Leona had been felting scarves and also brought in some workshop samples.  Margret showed us her fabulous wall hanging of felted objects and finger knitting that she had worked on for ATASDA and some silk paper.  Carolyn had finished her divine Matilda's Shed mini quilt she started at a Ro Bruhn workshop. Pat displayed her foldout sewing box. Mitzi had crocheted a lovely baby blanket and bonnets.  Click here or on the image below to view the photo gallery.

Our January challenge is to mix things up with Paint & Play - using whatever technique or medium you prefer for colour play on fabric try using it on paper and vice versa.  We will be posting photos of our experiments on Instagram with the hashtag #wwtagpaintplay.  Feel free to join in!
