Exhibition Opening

There was quite a buzz going at Robina Community Art Gallery last night for the opening of our Wild Women Textile Journeys exhibition.


A huge thank you to Sue Dennis for opening the exhibition and to Councillor Hermann Vorster for sponsoring three Volunteer awards and the People Choice Award.

    I visited this exhibition yesterday and there are really beautiful and skilfully made items on display. Some are for sale at very reasonable prices.

Hi Wild Women I'm happy to report that my recent entries into the Gold Coast Show awarded me 2nd and 3rd prizes in millinery and a great big 1st in the dream catcher section.  Wasn't fit enough to go to the show when it was on, so it was a real thrill when collecting them to see their certificates attached.   Patti x  For those who may of missed it - click here to see photos of Patti's show entries.
